ZenBusiness Renews at $199. Wyoming's Own Annual Bill Is $60.

The Second Number Is the Real Number

On its own the ZenBusiness agent product starts at $99, with state fees on top. The renewal is $199, and it does not come back down.

Both figures are published, which is to their credit. It only matters which one you multiply, and it is the second, because Wyoming wants that seat filled continuously, every single day the company remains on file.

Worth adding that no interface changes what the state does at its end. Wyoming takes an agent change on paper only, spends up to fifteen business days on it, and offers no expedited handling at any price under its own statutes. A better dashboard cannot buy you a faster envelope.

$199 Against the State's Own $60

Here is the comparison that puts the renewal in proportion.

Wyoming's recurring charge on a Wyoming LLC is the annual report, which doubles as a license tax. The formula is the greater of $60 or two-tenths of a mill on the dollar, $0.0002, applied to whatever capital, property and assets your company holds and uses inside Wyoming. It is a wealth meter, and most companies never trip it. Hold $300,000 or less in the state and the answer is the $60 minimum, flat.

So a ZenBusiness renewal costs over three times what Wyoming charges the company for existing, and more than double what we charge to answer its door. None of that is an accusation. It is a sense of scale, and scale is the first thing to go when a compliance dashboard is the only price in front of you.

One further state detail, since it belongs beside the tax. The report is due on the opening day of your anniversary month, not the closing one, and it can be filed from 120 days ahead. Wyoming also switches off online filing once the license tax passes $500, at which point the report goes by post like almost everything else here.
