Stripe Atlas is one of the best-known ways to form a US company from another country. It's a polished product for one specific path: a Delaware company, often a C-corp headed toward investment. If your plan is a Wyoming LLC instead, Atlas isn't available, and our Non-US Founder Package is one of the options to look at. We sell the competing package, so please factor that in.
Where Atlas is strong
Atlas bundles the Delaware state fee and a year of registered agent service into a single $500 price. It files your 83(b) election, issues equity, supports SAFEs, and provides legal templates drafted with Cooley. New companies get $2,500 in Stripe credits along with a list of partner perks, and Stripe says companies are incorporated within two business days, with next-day expedited filing. For a startup preparing to raise from US investors, that's a strong package.

Your first year and after
Year one
Atlas: $500, Delaware fee included. Our package: $399 plus Wyoming's $100, so $499. The first-year totals are nearly identical.
Later years
The registered agent renews at $100 a year with Atlas and $99 with us. The larger difference is the state. Delaware's annual taxes are separate from Atlas, while Wyoming's yearly license tax starts at $60 for an LLC.
What's different about our package
A Wyoming LLC
Wyoming lets members live anywhere, doesn't list members on the annual report, and keeps the yearly license tax at $60 until Wyoming assets exceed $300,000. We state this as the published rule, not as tax advice.
An account application prepared for our partners
Signing your EIN application sets it in motion: we've already completed the account application using your order details and added your filed Articles. After you approve it, we submit it, and your EIN comes through in the background. Approval is up to our partners.
The EIN without an SSN
We fill in Form SS-4 using the IRS procedure for owners with no SSN, you sign it, and we fax it. The IRS generally takes 2 to 8 weeks and offers no faster lane.
What you'll still handle
Neither Atlas nor we prepare US tax returns, including Form 5472. With us, you'll also file Wyoming's annual report and pay its license tax yourself each year.
When Atlas is the better choice
